Recolored an old watercolor piece digitally. The idea behind the piece is to create a monster that represents a social issue. I created these two-headed crows that feed on lost souls belonging to people who have gave in to societal pressure, deforming the spirit of the flesh and turning them into ‘walking dead’, as they no longer have/appreciate their own unique identity.
These crows are hermaphrodites and reproduce through consuming souls. As their saliva mix with the meat of the soul, rotten flowers blossom and eventually develop into a fetus.
