Through these two series of b&w and coloured photos, I redefined everyday objects by abstracting their usual shapes. Instead of focusing on the immediate existence of the objects, I looked at their lines, negative space, and contrast. The goal is to make the original object as indistinguishable and as intriguing as possible. The photos were only edited slightly (through adjusting the exposure, contrast, and saturation) to heighten the formal qualities.
